I won’t be able to stop thinking about this film for a long time! I knew by the trailer it was gripping but man oh man! My palms were sweating and I even stopped breathing at one point. Kendrick did a phenomenal job at capturing and displaying the feelings many women have felt in their lifetime. Even the scene in the bar when her neighbor made her feel uncomfortable. She displayed what many women do- taking on the blame and responsibility by apologizing and trying to make the man feel comfortable even though he was the one who push boundaries. The fear women feel walking alone, or out on an uncomfortable date. The fast paced fight or flight response to the gut intuition! Spot on! I hope this film sheds light on the fear women have to carry. Not all men are monsters btw! The shots were stunning, and gripping! I’m so excited for her!
