The Young and the Restless is a extremely well written and acted soap opera. I have been watching it since it's inception. The past two years the writers have really stepped up the diversity of characters with the addition of multiple cultures, ages, careers, and the storylines are multiple in number, too. When a character changes actors it is hard to get use to as I love all of the characters, but I grow adjusted to them. I hope that the present Billy stays, he has really grown with the part. I love the actors who have played the same character for many years and I can't imagine anyone else playing them; they ARE them! Ok, I do have one complaint. I am troubled that some characters have MAJOR jobs, CEOs etc. But they never seem to really be working. Either they are at home during most of the day, at the club, and always running into each other. Also, they never seem to be raising their children or taking care of them....the nanny must be with them day or night. How do they manage raising their children? Keep up the GREAT work and continue a first class show! Better than any evening show on any network!
