A lot of people have a lot of negative things to say about this movie. It should be no surprise by now that a Resident Evil movie/show isn't a blockbuster, but after all is said and done this movie is enjoyable. Movies/shows are meant to entertain, and so long as it does that then it did exactly what it was supposed to do, and Infinite Darkness did just that for me. If people stopped trying so desperately to be critics and just enjoyed things for what they were, life would be a lot simpler.

Before I had seen this movie, I heard that the critics ratings were not great, but wanted to see it so I decided I'd form my own opinion. I'm very glad I did. I've seen it twice now and I love it. I've loved the Uncharted games since 2016 and I've played all of them, so like most fans I was a little worried when they announced they were making a movie. The movie wasn't perfect, but it was very fun and entertaining, so it did exactly what it was supposed to. My only complaint was that the story felt a little rushed at times, but the movie was only 1hr 55min so that was unavoidable. This movie is great for Uncharted fans as it has a lot of Uncharted references and elements from the games that are fun to see. It's not a canon prequel as a lot of people mistakenly think, it's just a fun movie that takes inspiration from the games. Definitely recommend.
