I give this movie 2 stars only because of the cinematography and the attempt at inclusivity in the cast. I agree with some other reviewers that the movie was very dark. I had to double check the rating after and was surprised this movie was targeted to a younger audience. The daughter I found unlikeable in her violent outbursts and lack of regard for others. It's clear where her pain comes from and I'm glad she deserves a friend despite her behavior. I wish more time was spent on the lessons of connection than the violence.
