I'm a long time Star Wars fan. Like back to my childhood in the 80s fan. Read EU, played KOTOR1&2/SWTOR. I loved this show. If you like Star Wars or even just straight up fantasy stories, here's my review of what I love about the show - as vague as I can be without spoilers: and maybe you'll love it for these things too: Lightsaber battles. Story twists. Fallible characters. Unreliable narrators. Unexpected romantasy. Incredible actors. Making EU/Legends parts of canon (if you're a big geek like me). No one's safe. TROPES. The show making me think. Character actions that can be interpreted in different ways, the fact that is wasn't Skywalker Saga. They took big swings. If you've been waiting for it to finish to binge? Now's the time. This show has me questioning and theorizing every episode. But it's also very bingeable - I think the weekly release has left people asking qs which can usually be answered the next week only for more qs to be given. It's not your typical Star Wars. It's not even Skywalker Saga, but 100 years before. If you played the games Knights of the Old Republic or Star Wars The Old Republic, you may just love this show. Have you read romantasy? You also might also love this show. So there's my pitch. And I hope if you've been waiting on watching, this may make you start. It's good. Really good.
