the best!! it might not have followed the books exactly, but i especially loved the character development and relationship developments in the series, especially anne and gilbert's relationship. i did feel that they should have kept diana and anne's relationship the same as in the books, though: "not marred by any coolness or fight". in anne with an e they do fight though, contrary to the books, but their relationship was kept sweet and as realistic as possible in anne with an e. i loved it anyways, and i thought the actors and actresses did a great job in this one. definitely would recommend watching :)
