I actually cried at the ending of Season 3❗️- OMG guys , this show is SOOO good !👍 And some of the heartwarming powerful scenes among the characters ( especially at the end of Season 3) are stuck in my mind for SUCH a long long time . This is undoubtedly one of the BEST ❗️❗️series I have ever watched ! It’s bold , daring , provocative & so touching in many ways ! ⚡️ Despite some of the rather controversial plots , I love how the characters ( each of them is so well created! ) bring out SO many powerful issues & potent emotions 👇: ( eg: the deep pain of separation & betrayal in a love relationship + friendship among best friends who grew up together , the ugly class divide between the rich and the poor , teenage lust , lies , manipulation & religious prejudice , homosexuality & homophobia ) Each character is trapped by his or her own deep trauma & uncontrollable circumstances , and each episode literally got me on the edge of the seat ❗️❗️ At first , I thought this was just another superficial high school or college teen drama , but oh my , I was SO wrong ! To me , the momentum picked up after the first two episodes of Season 1 . And since then , I was impressed and hooked by the cleverly layered & well-thought-out plot ! They ALL acted very very well - good job guys ! ✌️✌️✌️ But if I were to vote , the heavyweight character goes to Nadia ! 🎉 She is SOOO good throughout the seasons and her plot is such a powerful force throughout the show ! And if you are in for eye candies & charming appearances , I think the characters Polo & Carla really stood out in portraying the youth of teenagers and young adults . They are really so well chosen in the young cast . As for heavyweight plots ❗️❗️that really touch my heart dearly , the gay relationship between Omar and his boyfriend Ander in stole the limelight ( so many issues are brought up here) , and so did the turbulent relationship between Nadia and her controlling father , as well as the unlikely friendship that eventually blossoms between Nadia and the overly competitive Lu . Go watch this show , guys ❗️❗️You won’t regret it ! Always watch it with an open mind and who knows , maybe you will also shed some tears toward the end like me , and walk away with some revelations about life , friendship and relationship ! Elite cast & crew - WELL DONE & GRACIAS !! 👍👍👍🌈🌈 I am SO looking forward to Season 4 !!! 🎈

One of the best TV series I have EVER watched ! Fantastic cast & a superbly crafted plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat in every episode ! Like many have mentioned here , the characters are all well sculpted and acted, with great chemistry among them ( I love the occasional humor there as well ! ) . Gore and suspense aside , there are lots of raw human emotions that tug at your heartstrings. Well done , Z Nation crew ! !

I am an English major and English teacher , so for obvious reasons this show really caught my attention ! I finished watching it in 3 days ! Smart & funny , I love how the show intelligently captures the following themes in today’s university education : 1) the changing learning styles and demands of students today & the sad decline in the study of English Literature in a pragmatic world ( as an English teacher , I can relate to this ! ) 2) the issue of race & racial representation of minority races in an American institution ( a very current issue more than ever! ) 3) the competing priorities in universities today - how to tweak courses and programmes to increase students’ enrolments in a university for the obvious financial reasons - to pay the teaching staff and to answer to the board of trustees ( such a real issue today in all universities ) 4) the issue of age and ageism in a school/university , especially for older teaching staff who are simply out of touch with the current generation of students ( again , such a real issue in all schools today ! ) Sandra Oh did an amazing job as an actress here , delivering her great performance as the Chair of an English department - in both the heavy dramatic plots, and the hilarious comedic parts of this series ! It’s again so refreshing to see Asian-Americans taking the lead roles in a TV show! However , I detest the excessively lengthy parts about the self-destructive loser-like behaviour of Bill ( the character that Sandra falls in love with in the story ) . Like what other viewers said here , it’s such a pain to watch this character , as he has no remorse for his own actions in the classroom . The scriptwriter needs to modify his character development to enable us to empathise with him more ( apart from the fact that his wife has passed away ) . Otherwise , this pill-popping and dysfunctional character seems like a drag in the story , as the show keeps on focusing on his mishaps and character flaws . Overall , I give it a 4-star rating - so yeah , good job to the cast ! I look forward to Season 2 !
