To everybody the main character was not so relatable.
She was an unemotional person who felt nothing and couldn't muster up the energy to face the real world. And so she decides to sleep for a year because her exhaustion was not physical but mental and emotional.
I think the only reason I relate to the character is because of her indifference and her emotional turmoil of rest. I found the scene of Reva's mother's funeral the most interesting because it was the only scene where the MC actually tried to feel something. And the way she reacted to the funeral.
This book felt like a window to another universe, of people and their emotions and thoughts of everything else. Her parents were to me, the main aspects of her condition. Like their death just heightened the emotions that were very conflicting. Relief and grief all the same.
