I wish I could like this movie. Cast is amazing. Director is very good. But half of this movie is simply not fun to watch. First 30 minutes were a joy but when Phoenix's great acting starts to exaust you as an audience member (maybe that's the point) something has gone wrong. I appreciate trying to reimagine the hero's journey but this movie did not succeed. #giantatticpenis

Really interesting watch. Pacing felt good even though it was nearly 3 hours long. I love how awkward most of the social interactions are (talking too close, oversexualized). No real deep feelings or thoughts, just a fun, odd, sexy, mystery movie.

The thought of watching a movie about some tech bros is inherently off putting to me. Thankfully, this movie decides to take a pessimistic (maybe honest) look at a company that starts earnestly wanting to put out a good, creative product, but ends up being corrupted by economic forces to becomes something that stands against the very values and goodwill that made it what it was in the first place. The clash and slow influencing of personality between two characters in particular made this a fantastic watch. Doug knew all along, Waterloo is where the vampires hang out.
