There was no substance in the movie. You’d think with the acting lineup it has it would be an epic sequel, but no, not even close. The acting feels like they are just there to collect the paycheck and residuals. From the historical standpoint, I don’t know where to begin. From Denzel telling the workers “hose off” the gladiators to the flooding of the coliseum with SHARKS!! Wtf?! It was a huge let down. Very disappointed.

Can’t replace Denzel, come up with something original.

Simplicity at its finest. The daily life and struggles the modern person deals with. Bruce Dern portrays the middle American father to perfection.

Hugely disappointing. Was looking forward to this series for so long. The movie was one of my childhood favorites but the storyline is all over the place and the casted characters are horrible.
