The plot was already very bad, and on top of that, there were so many unexplained things which to me seems like lazy writing. The protagonists' decisions and actions were also very irrational and unrealistic that it's almost impossible to immerse myself with the story.
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
The scene with the coffin at the beginning was very unnecessary as we only get to see the "zombies" once more, and it adds nothing to the story itself.
The villagers were also absent for most of the movie, and yet they all somehow appear during the burning dock scene. For some reason, some of them got possessed, which is very weird considering that the "true" villain specifically targeted the protagonist.
I also hated the fact that the dock was so small that it can only harbor 1 small boat. Meanwhile, there's a literal motorcycle on the island, which has no roads btw.
At this point, I'm not sure if I can say that I am disappointed. I'm... bewildered. This movie is such a trainwreck and future cinematographers should study it. Not to learn from it, but as to how can a movie as bad as this, got through a team of editors and producers, and still got released?
P.S. Alternatively, this movie might simply be a money laundering project by greedy studios and dispassionate producers and directors. In which case, I think they should be investigated and reported to the authorities.
