The reviews that a lot of the movie critics gave this movie I felt were unfair. The Goldfinch was not the easiest book to adapt into a movie and I think it was adapted brilliantly. I throughly enjoyed the movie and would highly recommend it. Obviously having read the book first helps a lot.
