Let me just say that this show is anything but perfect but a lot of the complaints that I’ve seen are either dumb deep lore complaints from neckbeards or they are entirely inaccurate (they seemingly didn’t watch the show). I think it’s great that Disney is exploring a new and fresh part of Star Wars that we haven’t seen before, the sky walker saga is seemingly over but there is so much cool history in Star Wars and I fully support them delving into that more. Spoilers Ahead The show clearly struggled with pacing, especially around the ep 3/4 mark but it absolutely picks up at ep 5. In addition there was some bad acting/writing with the dialogue, particularly with the twins but have we all forgotten the prequels? Revenge of the sith is my favorite Star Wars movie but the dialogue is so bad, I have a hard time watching it without laughing at some of the quotes. Ultimately this is the most interesting Star Wars we have gotten in a long time. I’m glad we are seeing that the Jedi are far from perfect, which I feel as a community we have always known. Qimir is also probably the coolest and most interesting villain we have gotten from Star Wars in a long time. The light saber fights were also amazing and the best we’ve gotten from Disney Star Wars. Sol is also a great and interesting character. The twins storyline also does not take away from anakin at all. They were clearly created but anakin was born from the force. Overall I though the show had some issues but was a great and interesting watch and I hope there’s a season 2.
