My take based on the first 2 episodes:
Visuals: 10/10
Charecters: 7/10
Music: 9/10
Story: A little slow but feels like they are approaching it the right way. I love LOTR and I am enjoying this because I have kept an open mind. So don't listen to the negetive comments, accept the fact that this is being made with a different idea and you will enjoy it.
EDIT (AFTER SEASON FINALE): I TAKE EVRYTHING I SAID BACK. THE STORY IS REALLY LAZY AND INCONSISTENT.
