This show is really well done, and the actors have incredible chemistry. I would give it 5 stars, but I feared from the beginning that it was going to get predictably pedantic. And, here we are. Just as I thought. The teacher is made out to be this horrible person, and both lives are ruined. Of course they had to play it that way. Eyeroll. At 18, in America, you can join the Army, risk your life and legally murder hundreds--thousands of people. But God forbid you fall in love with your teacher. I find myself rooting for them. Because, well, LOVE. Sometimes people fall madly in love, and can't help it. We are lucky in this lifetime to find love. He pursued HER. And yet everyone feels sorry for him, and all his guy friends are congratulating him, but she's the evil one and goes to jail? Of course I feel for her husband, and the whole thing is not ideal. But she was in an unhappy marriage.& had she not been a teacher and just some regular girl in a bar, no one would have cared. And let's not forget if the student was a girl, and she started dating an older guy, people would be MORE than ok with it. Especially if the guy is rich or famous. Then literally no one gives a damn. It's ridiculous. If people make each other happy, and it's true love--who are we to judge? Each case is different. I'm still rooting for them. Rooting for love, against all odds.
