First few episodes are fun , somewhat engaging. Nice character development . The show turns into the “theater of the absurd “ —— and not in a good way. The story line where Tom becomes an unwilling participant in the AA group — which is then followed by an “ overprotective “ and obnoxiously overbearing Cutter , virtually dictating Tom 24/7 , is nonsensical , patently unbelievable and frankly what happens to many long running series — when the writers just “mail it in “ . That however , should NOT happen early in season 1.
