Possibly the worst movie I've ever seen. Whatever message they tried to pull off about sexual liberation of women is a thin veil. They should really tell it like it is, then maybe they could sell the movie to the right audience: a prn about a mentally delayed woman that's borderline unethical. Hard to look away from for sure. I'm the antithesis of prude but low-key traumatized after this one surrounded by the elderly at 2:30 PM lmao.
There was some potential, if they just tightened up the @ex compilations and reworked the story to be like... An hour shorter. It felt like it was going to end 3x and it kept going. Decisions made in the movie made no sense, "but ohhh it's artsy it's supposed to be like that." Nothing wrong with being quirky. It just felt like a yucky fever dream. When I understood the messaging they were going for it just made me cringe instead of feeling empowered at all. Like, if the point was to show the good and the bad of the world, they sure hammered home the bad.
Begged my boyfriend to not walk out of the theater in case it improved. Spoiler alert, it didn't.
