They were trying way too hard to be disturbing with the sound effects, choral music, and dialogue. I could see where another person might see it as artistic but personally I just rolled my eyes. They over-did the weirdness and instead I found it boring and almost annoying. Like I couldn't wait for it to end. People are saying it's "thought-provoking" but the plot is actually pretty self-explanatory. Like there's no deeper meaning to it, it's simply a movie based off of Greek mythology. But I guess watch it if you want to see for yourself.
