The acting, fake accents, and fake smoking were terrible—espec the Marie/ Monique character. The time hopping was so annoying and unnecessary— a failed attempt to be artsy?? The series dragged on far too long, yet the conclusion was clumped together in the last 20 minutes & jumped several decades. The true story, Asia traveling, and costumes were good enough to keep me interested tho.
