A great story by a great author! This is a full length closed door novel. And I wish I was good enough at writing reviews to do it justice! The underlying idea, that of a couple getting to know each other and falling in love as pen pals, is very sweet. But the book also explores issues like how grief can mold different people in very different ways. There’s some suspense, action of course, and a cute yellow lab that I persist in envisioning in my mind as a golden retriever. You can read this book by itself, but you will recognize some of the characters from Made for You if you’ve read that book first.
