Dropped from 2 star to 1 star after episode 3. Jeez this is awful viewing. *Spoiler alert * Oh my.. As a note that will put you off from about 15 minutes in I'm not sure why a Jedi needs to open electrical sliding doors as they make a whooshing sound... It's like a child at a supermarket pretending they have mastered the force, it really is hard to take this seriously after this, I just don't know why. Really was hoping to see something that was half decent as there's been a lack of new content that's been any good. The dialogue is clunky and pointless at times. - We'll get the issue out of the way that a lot of people are saying about wokeness If there is a DEI quota to meet , as long as the quota of 'diverse' does not include white males, I'm not sure why the company felt this is a necessity when most consumers of the star wars franchise are white males. It's like opening a shop near a sunny beach selling sun lotion exclusively and saying we don't want ginger people buying our products. You can get away with this political intervention on casting if you're producing a product that is original or well written, unfortunately this is neither, there is a real lack of talented acting unfortunately to make up for the underwhelming story telling. The story of the first two episodes is frankly dull and feels like a mish mash of ideas stuck together that don't make sense a fair chunk of the time. As to why they've been thrown in other than to pad out a poorly written story, Star Wars in name and appearance (the CGI is great) but it feels like someone has watched a few military camp films and a murder mystery, forgotten about Jedi powers half the time and just gone with it. "Permission to speak" , "stand down" etc thrown into Jedi dialogue unfortunately, I'm not sure if they're portraying the jedi order or the US military, who knows. I'm not sure what the idea was and perhaps an AI wrote script with wording like : revenge+detective+ murder mystery +star wars dress up+snorefest+military drama+girlboss Those leaving 5 stars have clearly not watched this, it's not great, it's watchable but have extremely low expectations. Does it deserve 1 star? No. But it's not worth 3 for definite.

8 episodes in, The story is still quite dull, it's not suspenseful or interesting, it feels like the show was glued together when someone thought of something to add to the original concept, not really a story about what's happened or happning to the 4400 nor too much about the characters individually or after 8 episodes, again it feels like a mish mash with major plot holes. The acting, we'll to be fair I wasn't expecting a lot and I'm still disappointed, there are worse shows out there and there are loads of better ones. I'd be surprised if this is renewed for season 2, but worse have been renewed. Hopefully it'll improve as I'm a sucker for seeing out a whole season. It's 4/10
