Miracle Ashmon

Watching this movie on Hulu for the first time and it is an amazing movie! I must admit I did get sad. It tells that you never know what is going on inside the lives of people’s homes. It also shows you that parenting and the upbringing of a child affects their adulthood. The quote “My mom hits me. She loves me.” Meaning that if her boyfriend/husband hit her that means he loves her. Tonya was a phenomenal ice skater, but it’s so sad that her childhood just affected her career and everything. Her mother loves her, she still supported her, went to all her competitions, went to her wedding even.. it’s just the mother didn’t know how to love. Overall amazing movie!
