I have never read a book where I was so completely annoyed by the main character, in this case, Allie. The immaturity, the self-centeredness! Such a completely self-absorbed character with no empathy for a grieving mother-in-law, regardless of their history. The advice to Rebecca at the end of the book confirmed my opinion. I just wanted to say, "Grow up!" I would have been mightily ticked-off if I had paid for this book. Luckily it was a free download on my Kindle.
