Firstly, the first two original Quiet Place movies were great. This movie was very concerning, and I am not sure how this movie was allowed to be shown in Theaters. Day One movie has no plot, nothing to overcome, no real plights and really NO purpose. I was expecting a lot of suspense with discovery why the aliens invaded earth, a lot of trial and error/ in depth thinking from the characters to determine aliens' strengths and weaknesses to survive, but no. There are a lot of random action scenes (NO CONNECTION to FIRST TWO MOVIES) with a cat , very little talking/communication in the movie, and a lady trying to get a slice of pizza. You would think since the movie has little communication then the plot would be excellent but NO. After 1hr into the movie I thought to myself there is NO way this film is about someone getting a slice of pizza and randomly connecting with an attorney; a cat that somehow seems to survive massive deep-water scenes and circumvent aliens. Once they managed to arrive to the Pizza Shop Lupita actually was in distress due to the Pizza Shop being closed. Why would she expect the Pizza restaurant to be open during Apocalypse time is beyond me. I never write reviews but I felt the directors were challenging my I.Q. level, quite disrespectful
