writing was beautiful but it’s a pretty hard book to get through, it kept talking about a duel that never happened and just felt messy. A lot was left unexplained and there’s little plot, found myself quite bored the whole time waiting for something to happen. It’s definitely not bad but most of the chapters are just descriptions, and are slower paced centring on all the little details. Wasn’t too interested in the characters, found celia interesting but marco pretty boring and kinda annoying?? cheats on his girlfriend the whole book over someone he’s meant to duel with which is confusing in itself and its just not even explained why but if you like slower paced stories with detailed descriptions that are character driven this is the book for you
