This could have been a great movie. It's an interesting origin story, however at least to me the ship or container leaves to much to the imagination premise. Nothing is remotely explained and well there is just no story here. If you watched the trailer you saw you know the entire movie.

This film had big shoes to fill as Mulan is one of my favorite animated films. Movie is not horrible and its watchable. However it felt cheesy with wierd camera movements and poor effects. Acting felt dry in many of the scenes. Definitely did not like the chi, witch, phoenix part of the storyline. If we are going fiction or artsy then Disney you could have just keeped it to the original. It probably does not deserve one star but I am really disappointed.
