Mike Johnston

This is by far the best Halloween movie since the original. I thought they honored the original by having John Carpenter do the score which was a combination of the original score with variation and also something that sounded new. James Jude Courtney played a great Michael Myers by imitating some of the mannerisms that Nick Castle portrayed while still making it his own. The story was simple just like the original except they added some homages that paid tribute to the other installments within the franchise. Jamie Lee Curtis was great as always and the other actors and actresses were also very solid in their performances.
