*Spoilers Ahead*
For me this goes down as the second worst movie adaptation of a Stephen King film.
From a movie standpoint the pacing is terrible. I don't feel the viewer is given enough time to connect with the characters, and Practically no meaningful history or explanation is given for the events of the film and the characters involved. The jump scares and fx didn't land for me at all especially the Zelda scenes. It is also a terrible adaptation of a great book. It leaves out huge swaths of backstory and character development. I was really bothered by the amount of small changes that were made in the beginning, but they really lost me when they killed Ellie instead of Gauge.
For those of you who read this far. The dark tower is number one for worst Stephen King film adaptation.
