I have read the book and seen the movie. And while most movies never quite meet the expectations of the book, this movie did capture the spirit of love, acceptance, and the courage to be yourself.
I have enjoyed the movie so thoroughly that I rewatched it for movie night with my husband. This movie and book both bring to light how those in the public eye are treated as fodder instead of as people.
Good movie! And it deserves 2 thumbs up!
