900 pages of confusion, boring and pedantic writing.
DG, What Happened?
Perhaps the writer has aged and is no longer able to concisely write as well as in the previously released books of the series.Maybe she got bored .Maybe she is too busy writing novellas so that she sacrificed the main storyline.
Perhaps she farmed out the writing to a group of rent for hire wanna be authors.
This book is so disjointed .
Reading "Go Tell The Bees.." is not a pleasurable experience but pure drudgery. And yet one pushes on hoping that clarity is just around the next page.
The lead characters of whom the readers have become so enamored, Jaime and Claire, are almost non existent.
A plethora of new , annoying and uninteresting characters litter the pages. Disconnected plot lines rule the writing so much one must create a diagram to follow the non action and various plots.
And the kicker is after DG had been stating for years this would be the last novel, it ends with a cliffhanger. So there's another boring tome coming in future, but not for this reader.
You have done this reader and fan a disservice .Reading the other low rated reviews I see that I am in good company.Sorry, DG,I will not be waiting for number 10 . By that time I'll be telling the bees that I'm gone.
