This was a horrible waste of three hours. The movie was disjointed and hard to follow with too many characters, too many story lines and no memorable events. I'm left wondering what in the world did I just watch and why? It seemed like it had every cliche that you see in Western movies all jammed together in meaningless fashion not telling any story completely.

Unfortunately, this is the one book by Louis L'Amour that I have not been able to finish reading. I found it to be slow and monotonous in it's storyline and the way it was written.

The story line was interesting. The chracters well developed. But, it rambles on and on and on.
It would have been an interesting and fun read if consolidated into 250 pages. Way too lo g and laborsome.

Nate Romanowski is not black. I hate when made-for-tv shows do not stay true to the book and book series. This is the first glaring error and i'm sure there will be many more. I don't know if I can continue to watch this series.
