Dear god. Every single scene of this film is just plot contrivance after plot contrivance. How did Luther get a phone in prison? Cuz plot. How did he get a secret interview with the wardens? Cuz plot. Why do the police send one armed officer after a dangerous criminal into the tube? Plot. How does Luther survive 6 minutes submerged under arctic ice? Plot. THEN HE GETS FLOWN HOME IN THE SAME CLOTHES!? Not one iota of this film makes sense. It’s like it was written by a 5 year old.
