I had a lengthy review here but then I refreshed my browser and don't feel like rewriting it. I like the silly humor.

I was interested in this movie as it is based upon the same source material as made for TV miniseries from the 80s, which I watched (long ago)

Great movie. Sam Rockwell and Phoebe Fox have incredible chemistry but really there are only strong performances in this British heist film.

One of the most original movies I have seen in a while. For sure, there are relevant comparisons to "Zardof", "Beetlejuice", "Spy Kids", and "Labyrinth" but really... Is that bad thing?

This movie is polarizing critics and fair enough. What promises to be a light hearted time-loop romcom turns out to be a dark and melancholic examination of the nature of mental illness set against a beautifully gritty New York City evening. Naturally some people are unhappy about it. But here's the thing: it actually turns out to be a romantic and relatable ode to the possibility of love in an imperfect world filled with damaged and imperfect people.
