Intensely gripping movie , The Guest has done absolute justice to it's genre. The movie unfolds in a dynamic pace - it starts with the Peterson family being visited by an apparently 'charming' and 'benign' guy named David ( Dan Stevens) who claims himself to be an ex soldier and friend of their deceased son. The Peterson's still grieving , welcomes him with open arms. As the movie proceeds, we sense something unsettling and vile underneath the extremely charismatic and charming personality of David. And soon, uncanny 'accidents' starts happening in the town. With a mind-blowing soundtrack , captivating plot and exceptional performance, this movie is definitely a hidden gem of 2014.
