Not a fan of the Gaiman in general, he seems a lazy writer who's books are often feebly inferior to their movies.
(I'm looking at you Coraline, and you Stardust, oh yes!)
But then this delightful, blasted book came about and was wonderful! Magical! Fantastic! I read it in one sitting and was left feeling that the world was good and whole again!
I dont know what Muse came, grabbed & violently shook Mr G, but damn I'm glad it did!
Isnt it fine to be occasionally wrong when the outcome is so nice?
