I just saw #DilBechara ! I have never been so touched by a movie that I have rendered a review, so bear with me! It was a delight to watch, as it is NOT a Bollywood potboiler nor can it be considered "cookie-cutter"! I was laughing, crying, amused (with my recollection of the few words in Bengali , from fewer childhood visits to Calcutta) and most importantly, emotionally drained by the movie's realism & pure simplicity ! All the actors played their characters with such ease and precision ! I am truly astounded that this movie will termed a "Bollywood Movie" and will be more so, if it did not win all the awards its so richly deserves ! Sushant Singh Rajput was refreshing in his portrayal of "Manny" and will be sorely missed !!! He played his role as if it was second nature and I am sure that infectious (& possibly mischievous smile) of his, won quite a few hearts along the way! Would have loved to have met this beautiful soul . I congratulate everybody involved & would highly recommend watching this movie! Looking forward to watching this movie crews' next venture. Frankly I think they set their own yardstick to high!!
