cant believe everyone who saw this didnt just adore this movie! the time spent within the tower is dreamlike, metaphorical, and draws lines to things that connect mahito to his new and unfamiliar home, as well as the past that haunts him. mahito learns to live with his scars and push forward. my new favorite ghibli movie :-)
