Good cast, which helps a lot. Love Thomas Middleditch, glad to see him back on t.v., and nice to see Chuck Lorre's past cast members from various shows showing up as recurring characters. I'm intrigued by the plot. Definitely not like anything else currently on network t.v. I think it has room for improvement, and with a bit of time, could develop into a reliable hit. Hopefully, CBS will give it time. Lorre's track record certainly deserves it. The two leads work well together, but not loving the daughter character, and Sara Rue always seems to get saddled with unlikeable roles. Very reminiscent of MOM. Unlikeable kids, and Sara Rue being unlikeable. Maybe they'll mellow out! I should say, I'm generally a fan of CL shows, so that probably helps. I guess if you haven't liked anything else he's done, you probably won't like this.

Love it! If you're fans of either or both St. Vincent & Carrie Brownstein, this is for you. Weird, unsettling, amusing, provocative. Recommend.
