This was one of the few good shows that we've had in TV series in the past decade, they don't make shows like this anymore, the best part about the show was how every character was developed, except for the character suhana you cant say which other was the main lead ,every character made their presence felt, sadly it isn't given the recognition it deserves

one day I was watching random movie trailers and saw the one for this and I decided to watch it and that's when I also decided to bear a headache that came with the crying I did after watching this. This is the kind of movie which you see as if you are actually following the characters wherever they go. the experience was painfully beautiful. The movie is slow but you don't complain because the experience is worth spending the time on. I wish all the homophobes could watch this movie and try not to feel sad for Ennis and jack when the credits roll. The casting was spot-on, Ang lee had pairs of actors in his mind so one wouldn't work without the other. I hadn't seen much of Jake Gyllenhaal before except for the spiderman movie and he was phenomenal in this role. Heath's performance as Ennis del Mar is right up there with him as the Joker, he says in an interview that his character had the most lines in the movie yet it seems like he barely spoke anything, it's because of how held back his character was. now that's acting. Michelle Williams as Ennis' wife also gave an amazing performance without speaking much. The only character I didn't understand much was Anne Hatheway's, but the ambiguity she creates in the last scene while telling Ennis about Jack's death was fantastic. Forever thankful to Mr Ang lee for this piece of art.

This movie was definitely not worth the hype. I wasn't satisfied with varun shawn's acting as he has a natural tapori accent and his character of zaffar has to use a lot of urdu so it doesn't quite click for me.the sets were too extravagant and don't look realistic. The graphics were poor too.it was very underwhelming with a cliche and predictable storyline.
