They could have done better so much better. They finally had a good thing going with Pokemon Legends: Arceus, and had their foot in the door. With these games, they took their foot right back out of the door and proceeded to walk into the streets. The story lines are okay, but the Titan battles are underwhelming and are almost boring. There are NO other legendary pokemon besides the 2 on the games covers and then 4 "legendaries" that you go around and pull out stakes for in order to see and catch them, and they're kinda trash. The open world aspect and being able to join with friends to go explore is nice for sure but that's really all this game has going for it right now. New pokemon are also okay but honestly with how uneventful this game has been, the Poke Dex isn't even worth filling in. As with most adult pokemon vets, I beat this game in 2 & 1/2 days and that's with filling out half of the Dex. I hope that either they come out with an additional DLC, or learn from their mistakes in this game and make the next one a LOT better. All in all, I'd wait until this game goes on sale because this was not worth the full $60.
