AMAZING MOVIE! It's not just another scary movie. It has all the pieces that cultivate a good cinematic experience and story. It has a hint of comedy that is not "too much" so that it takes away from the story itself, but it adds a layer of realism. The characters are written in a way that gives them depth where you actually care about them, and this gives the story even more urgency. Has great action, spooky moments, and emotional aspects. I thought it was a great movie.

I enjoyed the movie and the story, but I think there's a lot of things that could have been better--one of which is the character of captain marvel. She just never felt real or all that interesting, and her personality is kind of bland. I don't have anything against the actress who plays her, but I don't think she was a good fit for the character she was playing.
