As a Black West Point graduate, I was aware of these two great men, but I had no idea about the depth of their challenges and accomplishments. An incredible, inspiring read where Melville’s very personal perspective and ability to be vulnerable puts you in their skin as you retrace their journey. If you are veteran, or know someone who is, this is a must read.
