Sandie Hampton

I felt Michelle Williams made a cartoon character of Gwen Verdon. As a student of her [Gwen Verdon] work while I attended college, I can say she never came off as the whining, nasal-voiced animated character that Michelle Williams portrays her to be. Not sure where Michelle drew her inspiration from for the part but with each episode she seems to miss the mark even further. Sam's portrayal of Bob Fosse, on the other hand, is superb and right on the money. He is definitely the right choice for this part. He has Fosse's mannerisms down pat. I'm sure Bob Fosse would be proud.
