I was an MJ fan for as long as I can remember. When these court cases happened I somehow avoided finding out too much. I really did not want MJ to fall off his golden pedestal. I’d seen him in concert, stuck posters all over my walls and he was god-like to me. Even after reading ‘all that glitters’ a few years ago I was like hmmm... 50/50. But after watching this documentary and hearing all the nuances of emotions and memories and how they have lived with this- I feel embarrassed that I didn’t see. Im not surprised Wade lied to protect Michael. He loved him and had been groomed and his brain had to find a way to cope with the abuse. As for Culkin- not doing so great now. Imagine if he spoke out after so publicly defending MJ- who would be strong enough to deal with that? Why do we believe it of Saville but not Michael Jackson- maybe because we loved him.
