Looks like psyco killer movie trend is back .I don't know what's with tamil film makers lately there are a lot of psyco killer films made in the recent times starting with the super hit Ratsasan, a lot of films post that followed it into the psyco genre .There were quite few good ones but one thing that I did observe is glorifying the dead/killing in a stomach churning manner and creeping out the audience and many movies are focused more on it rather than the whole story . Penguin on the other hand has been the films that goes into the second category , plot is avg and glorification is highlighted , we couldn't see much of mother's pain in Keerthi suresh, 3/4th of the movie just happens without much intresting plot and last 30mins is where it all summarises and were are not really surprised or shocked by knowing who the killer is and then we start to see a lot of flaws in the plot and too many coincidences which makes us realise we just saw a whole film that is just based on a penguin story where mama penguin tries to save the baby penguin no matter what.
