Cringe dialogues. Very basic script with poor CGI. Sad to say but the animated version is more realistic. This movie was hype but did not live up to even me giving it a 2 star review. Very disappointing and yes i still watched it all because i'm a big fan of the movie. I just felt so betrayed. This movie was way too serious and maybe my expectations got the best of me but I wanted more fun in the movie. Not really a spoiler, but there is no singing, no dragon mushu, no cricket, no stoogers bullying Mulan, no general sheng, and this is probably my biggest downvote of the movie is that it is not as impactful as the animated version.
