I love the depth of Harley Quinn's inner self. She can really do things without the Joker than becoming his sidekick villain. She stands alone on her terms and shows Gotham, Metropolis, and other cities of the DC universe that she can conquer on her own. Plus, I like some gags that each villain got especially Clayface, I think he can easily steal the show in certain episodes. King Shark, Sy Borgman, Doctor Psycho, they're okay (although I like Sy's car transformation that kind of made a Transformer gag). But Poison Ivy, she is like a Jimminy Cricket to Harley that supports her independence. She guides Harley to keep away from trouble especially from Joker and has the only friend she got. Without her, Harley could easily be left astray. It's nice to have friends that stand by her than try to go alone and find herself joked up by the Joker himself.
This show has potential. Even though it's targeted for adults only but at least adults could get gags and lessons that being a sidekick is not always joked up to be. It can be as annoying as Batman's sidekick Robin. For Harley, she can prove that standing up for herself with friends like Ivy can make a difference in life than putting herself in Joker's shadow. She came out and smashed him with her giant mallet as she takes over Gotham in her terms.
