As much as I wanted to love this movie with Leo & Scorsese being the best cinema has to offer. This movie was slow, along with the acting and the delivery of the lines from all the cast was weak. There was a “beat” to every word they spoken. What was Scorsese doing? All his films are fast paced and harsh direct lines coming from his actors.
Killers/Moon doesn’t feel, look, and plays out like other Scorsese films. It’s not a bad film, I like watching it but mainly, I feel they played down the villain roles of Leo & DeNiro. Where it would have been more entertaining for me if they were more hands on to the villain role than second hand and having others do they’re deeds.
I have seen it 5 times now and it’s really missing that old Scorsese mojo like in Casino and Wolf of Wall Street delivery.
