These volumes are must reading for any serious Jazz fan and a wonderful introduction to the Bop and Hard Bop years [circa 1945-1965] as captured on these iconic Prestige Recordings. Tad's annotations are fun to read and full of useful insights. A labor of love on behalf of the music and one to be treasured.
