I had high expectation based from the 1st Avatar. I remember years back I was at awe and looking forward for the next story line. As you know , it was and still IS breath taking in terms of visual experience (Amazing actually!)
But , watch this movie if you want to be depressed . "The way of waste" suits the title, due to the fact that on top of your wasted bucks, the highest form of visual graphics did not blend well with the logical & emotional depiction of the movie. Too much casualties happened for those poor beautiful innocent magnificent creatures over a single character (jake and his family) . Deaths of remarkable characters did not justify the major quest . They even killed the eldest son . We paid for the movie to enjoy , and hope to make most the time spent on screen. But, I ended up horribly mourning and cried over sad scenes. I was hoping that there would be some sort of compromise and justifying come-back scenes to make up the loss of those poor characters but Nope. It left me tears and my heart broken & hanging wondering - "Why did they have to ???". It seemed that this piece is only to provoke outrage and negative emotions to viewers. It is just so sad because they market it as something wonderfully "emotional" and "spiritual" yet they fail on these key parts but only excelled in the visuals. I am not fully impressed ☹️💔
